Why I chose to wait on my education...

Posted by Jeremy Miller on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, In : My Thoughts
I was awarded a baseball scholarship in 1994 and attended one year of college in Kansas. I had the same desire then as I do now; to teach high school English and coach high school baseball. I will never forget the day I chose to walk away.

Why Blog?

Jeremy M. Miller We are only as strong as our weakest link and it is why I am an ever changing educator. The more I learn and experience, the more I change to be the best I can for my students, and society around me. I will never arrive at knowing all there is to know about education, but I have definitely begun my journey. My blogs are my thoughts, and I welcome your replies. Challenge me if you feel the need, I believe I grow exponentially from a healthy debate centered in a different perspective. I leave you with words from an incredible and ground breaking poet, Walt Whitman: "Have you learned the lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you? Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed passage with you?"
