An educator is put into a precarious position when considering this topic. In the classroom it is of utmost importance to understand and embrace the individual for who they are, how they learn, etc.. but, at some point we must bring balance by helping them recognize how much they have in common with those around them, and how much they stand to gain by exploiting this commonality.

We are only as strong as our weakest link and it is why I am an ever changing educator. The more I learn and experience, the more I change to be the best I can for my students, and society around me. I will never arrive at knowing all there is to know about education, but I have definitely begun my journey. My blogs are my thoughts, and I welcome your replies. Challenge me if you feel the need, I believe I grow exponentially from a healthy debate centered in a different perspective.
